An 870-meter rocky summit in Nanmoku Village, Kanra District, Gunma Prefecture, the highest point of Mount Kurotaki. Centered on the ancient Ōbaku-Zen temple Kurotakisan Fudō-ji, Mount Kurotaki is one of West Jōshū's foremost rugged Shugendō peaks, with knife-edge ridges, chains, and iron ladders; Kannon-iwa commands sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. It is featured in the Gunma prefectural climbing guide, 'Nishijōshū no Yama 120', and other guides.
