A 2,272 m point on the main Oku-Chichibu ridge inside Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, on the border of Yamanashi City (Yamanashi) and Kawakami Village (Nagano). It lies on the long traverse between Mount Kokushi (2,592 m) and Mount Kobushi (2,475 m), in dense Japanese hemlock and rhododendron forest with little view from the summit.
