Benten-no-Mori is a 1,600 m minor summit in the Ōmine range in Tenkawa, Nara Prefecture, on the way to Misen (1,895 m) and Hakkyōgatake (1,915 m), the highest peak in the Kinki region. It lies along the shortest route from the west portal of the Gyōjagaeri tunnel, within Yoshino-Kumano National Park. The path to Shobo-no-shuku ruins passes through old-growth beech forest, with colonies of false hellebore in wet areas.
