Mt. Myojogadake is a 1,894 m peak at the border of Gojo City, Tenkawa Village, and Kamikitayama Village in Nara Prefecture, just southwest of Mt. Hakkyogatake — the highest peak of the Kinki region. It lies along the Omine Okugake-michi pilgrimage route, part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range," and is the highest mountain in Gojo City. The peak sits within Yoshino-Kumano National Park; Gojo City restored a northern ridge trail from the Otto-cho side in recent years.
