Official name 鳥越大日スポーツランド · Formerly 鳥越高原大日スキー場
Ishikawa
Open 1970–2012
Torigoe Dainichi Sports Land was a ski area in Ate, in the former village of Torigoe, now part of Hakusan city in Ishikawa. It opened in 1970 as Torigoe Kogen Dainichi Ski Area and, with easy slopes about an hour's drive from Kanazawa, was popular with families on day trips. Renamed in 2007, it closed for two seasons while a collapsed slope was repaired, reopened in January 2010, and was abolished on 26 February 2012. The former ski area has since been used for Self-Defense Force and rescue-helicopter training, gymkhana motorsport and university drone flights.

- Hakusan City (city-run ski area; earlier the former Torigoe Village)
- Why it closed
- In fiscal 2007 Hakusan City repaired the collapsed slope and said it would discuss with local residents converting the ski area from a municipal business into a community sports facility for snow sports and the like (city council newsletter No. 9). No source has been found that directly states the reason for the 2012 abolition.

- Used as a training site for the Ground Self-Defense Force, the Air Self-Defense Force Komatsu Air Rescue Squadron and the Ishikawa Prefecture fire and disaster-prevention helicopter, as a gymkhana venue, and for Kanazawa Institute of Technology drone flights and solar-car practice (Hakusan City's description as of 2020). Gymkhana in the car park reportedly ended in February 2023.
