Okuradake Kogen Ski Area is a city-run hill in Okoya, Komatsu, Ishikawa, best known for the view of the Sea of Japan from the top on clear days. It runs night skiing from Tuesday to Saturday, with town lights spread below the slopes. Three pair chairlifts serve a family slope, the intermediate 'Sea of Japan' course, and the advanced Wedeln course with pitches up to 30 degrees, while a free kids' slope needs no ticket. Ski and board rental sets are available, and it is about 30 minutes by car from the Komatsu IC or Komatsu Airport.
