Shinnyuzan Ikoi no Mura Ski Area Closed
Official name 深入山いこいの村スキー場
Hiroshima
Shinnyuzan Ikoi no Mura Ski Area was the ski slope of Ikoi no Mura Hiroshima, a public holiday village on the Kuraza plateau at the foot of Mount Shinnyu (1,153 m) in Akiota. Hiroshima City and the former town of Togouchi began building the village in 1974, with a campground, tennis courts and the ski slope around its main lodge. The ski area has since closed. The lodge still takes guests, and in winter it points them to snowshoe hikes on the mountain.
