Osorakan Snow Park covers the eastern face of Mt. Osorakan, at 1,346 m the highest peak in Hiroshima Prefecture, and is known locally as the birthplace of skiing in the prefecture. Four natural-snow areas give a top-to-bottom run of about 420 m vertical. Experts come for Hiebata's kilometre of moguls and the 38-degree upper Kayabata, while the SAJ-certified Bunazaka slope hosts races; the lower slopes, family area and snow park suit beginners and children. On clear days the summit looks out to the Sea of Japan. It lies 33 km from the Togouchi IC, with a free reservation shuttle from the interchange.

Car: Chugoku Expressway, Togouchi IC (via Route 191 and the large-scale forest road), 33 km

Bus

Hiroshima Bus Center → Togouchi IC Bus Center (Michi-no-Eki Raimu Togouchi) About 1 h (model plan: dep. 8:18, arr. 9:22) · 2025-26 season · Paid route bus. The shuttle runs daily in season and may be cancelled due to weather. 2026-27 bookings planned to open 1 December → Free shuttle bus to Osorakan Lodge (reservation required by 16:00 the day before), about 50 min (dep. 9:40, arr. 10:30)
