Utopia Saioto trail map

Utopia Saioto spreads over the west face of Mt. Takasugi in Kitahiroshima, Hiroshima, and is best known for what it calls one of western Japan's biggest snow parks and for its family facilities. A main park with its own lift and a beginner park draw snowboarders, while six runs range from the gentle Family and wide Center slopes to the 32-degree Medalist course. Snowmaking backs up natural snow. Kids get the Kids Kingdom sledding and snow-play area, and parents get a heated kotatsu rest room. The season runs from late December to mid-March, about 45 minutes by car from Togouchi IC on the Chugoku Expressway.
