Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort trail map
Sapporo Kokusai sits high on Mt. Asari above Jozankei, within Sapporo City, about an hour's drive from downtown. It is known for dry powder near the top and one of the longest seasons around Sapporo, from late November until Golden Week in early May. An eight-seat gondola, the Sky Cabin, climbs to the summit for seven runs including a 3.6 km cruise, a family slope over 100 m wide and a 30-degree downhill, with terrain parks and a sledding area. Reservation-only ski buses run in winter from Sapporo Station, Makomanai Station and Jozankei, and parking is free.
