Ryuoo Ski Park trail map
Ryuoo Ski Park is the largest ski area in Kitashiga Kogen, Yamanouchi, Nagano, where a 166-passenger ropeway climbs to the summit area. The SORA terrace at the top is famous for its sea-of-clouds views. With more than 1,000 m of vertical, you can ski a run of about 6 km from top to bottom, and there is also the ungroomed 36-degree Kiotoshi Bowl, tree-run zones and two terrain parks, which draw stronger riders. Night skiing runs on most evenings, and the season lasts from early December to early April. A free shuttle runs from Yudanaka Station, and the Ryuoo Onsen lodges sit at the base.

Backcountry
The ungroomed 木落しボウル and tree-run areas are inside the area; helmets are mandatory on the Bowl courses, and a no-entry zone is marked on the map.
