Nakajo Katsura Ski Area Closed

Nakajo Katsura was a tiny ski hill in the Nakajo district of Tokamachi, Niigata, about 2 km from Uonuma-Nakajo Station on the JR Iiyama Line. A single rope tow served one gentle beginner slope about 250 m long with some 35 m of vertical, used mainly by locals. The rope tow has been removed. The Katsura Park kids' area is nearby.
