Muica Snow Resort trail map
Muica Snow Resort lies about five minutes from the Muikamachi exit of the Kan-etsu Expressway, with the Muika Onsen Hotel and its natural hot spring right at the foot of the slopes. From the top of Mount Masugata the view spreads over the Uonuma basin and the Echigo peaks. Long, gentle runs make it easy for beginners and families, while a beginner park, wave and tree courses, hike-up ungroomed terrain and a registered mountain route add variety. A free shuttle runs from Muikamachi Station.

Backcountry
Three hike-up ungroomed top courses form a self-managed off-piste field; the out-of-area mountain course opens from about mid-January and needs a signed application and a ¥1,000 armband deposit.
