Naeba Ski Resort trail map
Naeba Ski Resort is a large Seibu-run area on the eastern face of Mt. Takenoko in Yuzawa, Niigata, with the Naeba Prince Hotel standing right at the foot of the slopes. Its 24 runs cover about 134 ha, from gentle beginner slopes in front of the hotel to steep pitches such as the Men's Riesen and the World Cup mogul run. The Dragondola, one of Japan's longest gondolas, links it to Kagura, and a shared Mt. Naeba ticket covers both. Children of primary school age and under ride free, there is a family snow land, and night skiing and a natural hot spring round out the stay. Buses run from Echigo-Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen.
