Mori Town Ski Area, known locally as Sankakuyama ("triangle hill"), is a free town-run slope in the Kamidai district of Mori, on Uchiura Bay in southern Hokkaido. There are no lifts: skiers and snowboarders climb the broad slope on foot, which makes it as much a workout as a ski outing. The hill is also popular for children's sledding, and it has a heated rest hut and floodlights for evening use. When the snow melts the slope becomes a park golf course.
