Lily-yama Ski Area is a town-run family hill close to central Bihoro in eastern Hokkaido, with one pair lift and a 450 m run of up to 20 degrees for beginners and intermediates. The top offers a fine view. Night skiing runs from Monday to Saturday. Lift prices are modest, but there is no rental, so bring your own gear. The season usually runs from late December to early March, and Memanbetsu Airport is a short drive away.
