Koshimizu Town Ski Area is a small town-run slope on the edge of central Koshimizu, near the Sea of Okhotsk in eastern Hokkaido. It has a single 300 m rope tow, a lodge and floodlights, so on weekdays the hill stays open into the evening. Local children ski free and visitors pay only a token fee, which makes it a place where local kids learn to ski rather than a destination. It runs during the snow season in winter.
