Kyukamura Myoko RunRun is a small ski area right in front of the Kyukamura Myoko lodge at the foot of Mt. Myoko, near Seki Onsen. It is the only ski-in, ski-out lodge in the Kyukamura chain, with a single 900 m beginner run of up to 16 degrees. It is quiet, preschoolers ride free, and on weekends a kids' park for sledging and snow play and bookable ski lessons make it a gentle place for a child's first time on snow, followed by a soak in the lodge's hot spring. Stronger skiers can walk about ten minutes from the top of the lift to the powder slopes of Seki Onsen Ski Resort.

About 50 min from Naoetsu; from Nagano take the Shinano Railway Kita-Shinano Line to Myoko-Kogen (about 45 min), then about 15 min → Kyukamura shuttle bus, about 15 min (reservation required)
