Katsurazawa Kokusetsu is Mikasa city's ski hill in the hills near Lake Katsurazawa, central Hokkaido. A single pair lift serves runs of 490 to 855 m with about 218 m of vertical and pitches up to 31 degrees, so there is something for beginners as well as stronger skiers. On weekends and holidays a kids' park with tubing and play equipment opens. Lift tickets are cheap, and showing one at hot springs in the city gets a small discount or a free drink.
