Kannabe Family Ski Area Closed

Kannabe Family was one of the many ski slopes on the Kannabe Kogen plateau in the Hidaka area of Toyooka, Hyogo. The plateau once had ten or more separate ski areas, but falling visitor numbers, poor snow in warm winters and mergers cut them down, and this one was abandoned. Today only Up Kannabe, Okukannabe and Manba still operate on the plateau.
