Manba sits on the Kannabe Highlands in Toyooka, northern Hyogo, roughly two hours by car from Osaka and Kobe, and is known for its long runs. Three pair chairlifts and a snow escalator reach a gentle family slope by the entrance, a forest trail, the Center Hall and Utopia slopes and the steeper Triangle A, B and C courses for advanced skiers. A kids' area and lift-plus-rental bundles make it easy for first-time families. Direct buses run from Umeda and Kobe, local buses come from JR Ebara Station, and the Hyogo 5 season pass covers this and four other Hyogo resorts.
