Tajima Bokujo Park Ski Area trail map
Tajima Bokujo Park, a prefectural farm park known for its Tajima cattle about 15 minutes from Yumura Onsen, turns the slopes of Mt. Atago into a small ski area in winter. A single pair lift serves four runs: the gentle Paradise course, Skyroad with ungroomed fresh snow, the wooded Pasture course and the 30-degree World course, where moguls form naturally. The park's own lodge, Makiba no Yado, sits right by the slope, and beginner ski classes for primary-school children make it a relaxed family hill. The lift does not run on Thursdays. Outside winter the lift carries sightseers and children sled on artificial turf.
