Ashizawa Kogen Ski Area Closed

Ashizawa Kogen was a small hill ski area near the centre of the former town of Tsugawa, now part of Aga in northern Niigata, about 2 km from the Tsugawa IC on the Ban-etsu Expressway. It had two short runs over a vertical of only about 35 m used by local skiers. The former slope now lies within the Ashizawa Kogen Herbal Park, and the ski area has closed.
