Ninox Snow Park trail map
Ninox Snow Park is on the western flank of Mt. Ninoji in Shibata, the closest ski area to Niigata City and reachable without the expressway. It now runs mainly on its lower slopes: the wide, gentle Enjoy run and the intermediate Joyful run of up to 24 degrees, good for learning and practice, plus a slopestyle park with a 5 m kicker and rails beside the high-speed quad. Night skiing runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with free parking in the evening. A kids' park with a snow escalator and play equipment makes it popular with families, and a free shuttle runs from Shibata Station.

- Free on weekdays and for night skiing (from 15:00) / weekends, holidays and New Year (12/29-1/3) 1,000 yen per car
Train
- Niigata Station → Shibata Station JR Hakushin Line / JR Uetsu Main Line · About 45 min on the JR Hakushin Line (local) · Shuttle bus: December 17, 2026 – March 22, 2027 · About 30 min from Niitsu Station and about 33 min from Murakami Station on the JR Uetsu Main Line. If the bus is full it makes another run about an hour later → Free shuttle bus from the right of the ticket gate, about 30 min (weekends, holidays and New Year dep. 8:30 and 9:45; weekdays dep. 8:45, reserve by 17:00 the day before; return from ninox 16:00 and 17:00)
