Mount Suzu-ga-take is a 1,564.7 m peak on the border of Maebashi City and Shibukawa City in Gunma Prefecture, one of the parasitic volcanoes of the Mount Akagi complex. Its bell-shaped profile is visible from the Shibukawa and Numata sides; the standard 3-hour traverse climbs from Shinsakahira via Ubago Pass, Kuwakara Pass and Mount Kuwakara to the summit, where stone shrines to Suzugadake, Akagi and Atago deities stand. The peak forms the core of the Suzugadake Prefectural Natural Environment Conservation District, with rhododendrons in late May and azaleas in mid-June, and sits within Akagi Prefectural Park. It is listed in the Gunma 300, Hana no 50 Meizan and Yabu-Iwa-Damashii lists.
