Mt. Arayama is a 1,572 m peak in the Fujimi-Akagiyama area of Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, standing as the southern outer-rim summit of the Mt. Akagi range — one of the three sacred mountains of Jōmō. A ridge links it with neighbouring Mt. Nabewari (1,332 m) to the northeast, and the saddle between them — Arayama Kōgen — is famed for its yamatsutsuji azalea displays in late May to late June; the climbing season generally runs from late April to early November. The peak is one of the routes featured in Maebashi City's Akagi trekking guides.
