Nishi-Goteniwa is a roughly 2,075 m subsidiary peak branching off Karamatsu-o-yama on the main Oku-Chichibu ridge, on the border of Chichibu City (Saitama) and Koshu City (Yamanashi). It is reached in about ten minutes from the Yamanokamido–Karamatsu-o-yama traverse and is known as a viewpoint over Mount Kumotori, Mount Hiryu, and Mount Fuji. It lies in Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park and is listed among the 223 mountains with Fuji views.
