Mount Koma-ga-take (also Kubiki Komagatake or Umidani Komagatake) is a 1,487.4 m peak in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, the main peak of the Umidani Massif together with Mount Oni-ga-tsura and Mount Nokogiri. Wedged between the Umi River and the Nechi River (a tributary of the Himekawa), the mountain's huge andesite cliffs face west and south, and in winter the towering "Kanetsukoro" icicles over 100 m long form on its flanks. Two trails climb to the summit — one from Umidani Sankyō Park, one from the Yamadera–Nechi hamlets — and the peak lies within Hakuba Sanroku Prefectural Natural Park. It is selected in Niigata 100, Echigo 100 and Japan's 1,000 Mountains, among other lists.
