Mount Hakogamori

Mount Hakogamori is an 865.5-metre peak straddling Shiwa Town and Yahaba Town in Shiwa District of Iwate Prefecture. Together with the higher Higashine-yama (928 m) and Nanshō-zan (848 m) it forms the Shiwa Three Mountains close to Morioka, and is traversed on the 20-kilometre ridge route from Yahaba Onsen to Tsunagi Onsen. Selected for the Iwate Hyakumeizan, it sits within the Morioka Forest Management Office's jurisdiction; access to its trailheads has been partly restricted since the heavy flooding of August 2013.
