Yanaba Parallel Ski Area Closed
Official name やなばパラレルスキー場 · Formerly 簗場スキー場
Nagano
Yanaba Parallel was a small ski slope near the south-eastern shore of Lake Nakatsuna in the Yanaba district of Omachi, Nagano. Originally called Yanaba Ski Area, it took its later name after the Yanaba Parallel Ski School opened there in 1965. The slope was used only by the school and its guests, less than a kilometre from Yanaba Station, and was served by a Snow Troika sled lift. It fell out of use around the mid-1990s, and all its facilities have been removed. It is separate from the nearby Yanaba Ski Area.
