Tsunogami Ski Area Closed

Tsunogami Ski Area was a small hotel slope beside Hotel Kadokami, the single inn at Tsunogami Onsen in Kanose, Aga Town, Niigata. It had one pair lift serving a single gentle beginner run of about 400 m with a maximum gradient of 17 degrees, at roughly 100 to 164 m above sea level. On holidays a local ski club ran lessons for beginners, and guests could finish the day in the hotel's hot-spring baths. The slope was still operating in the 2009-10 season but later stopped running; the hotel itself continues to operate.
