Takino Snow World trail map
Takino Snow World is the winter face of Takino Suzuran Hillside National Government Park in Minami-ku, Sapporo. Its ski slope is a single gentle family run, 250 m long with an average 7-degree pitch and one pair lift, ideal for first-time skiers and small children; rentals cover skis only. Around it the park offers a sledding hill, cross-country trails from 3 to 17 km and snowshoe routes through the forest, with free loan sleds and snowshoes. It is about 30 minutes by car from central Sapporo and is open from late December to the end of March.
