Snow Resort Romance no Kamisama trail map
Romance no Kamisama, known until 2023 as Kitashinshu Kijimadaira Ski Area, covers the north face of Mt. Kosha, the cone-shaped peak locals call Takai Fuji. After it was privatised, it took its new name from a well-known Kohmi Hirose pop song. The headline run is Pioneer at the summit, an ungroomed north-facing pitch that the resort rates at 46 degrees, where powder lasts. Lower down, the Sky course is up to 250 m wide and the gentle base slopes, free kids' park and three-line terrain park suit families and beginners. A free shuttle runs from Iiyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and a hotel stands beside the slopes.
