Shirao was a ski area on the southwest slopes of Mt. Shirao in Shirotori, Gujo, Gifu, a short drive from the Shirotori IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. It was especially popular with snowboarders. On weekends and holidays it opened before dawn, with a nap room for night drivers, and it ran a terrain park with kickers and rails plus a boardercross course. Six lifts served about 500 m of vertical. After the 2017-18 season the operator, Rokunori Co., closed it on 30 June 2018.
