Shin Tokura was a mid-sized ski area in the hills of Dodani in Haga, Shiso City, opened in 1982. Seven runs dropped about 480 m from a 900 m top, and in 1987 it installed the first quad chairlift in Hyogo Prefecture. It also ran night skiing. The area shut after the 2007-08 season with plans for a renewal that never came; the lifts and lodges still stand, and the grounds are now used for camping.
