Pippu Ski Resort trail map
Pippu Ski Resort is a town-run hill in Pippu, just north of Asahikawa, with wide views over the Kamikawa basin to the Daisetsu range. Nine runs on the west side of Mount Hokurei range from long cruisers such as the 2 km Family course and 2.2 km Strawberry course to the moguled Golden course and a 36-degree deep-snow run for experts. Night skiing runs until the end of February, and day and night tickets include entry to the Yuyu Pippu hot-spring bathhouse right next to the slopes. The hill is about three minutes from the Pippu-Kita interchange, and a free shuttle runs daily from Pippu Station.
