Omagari Family Ski Area, officially the Daisen City Omagari Ski Area, was a small city-run hill in Uchiomo, Daisen, Akita, about 15 minutes by car from JR Omagari Station. Opened in 1990 in a park zone that also holds the prefectural agricultural science museum, it had one pair lift, a single run of about 500 m, a sledding slope and a lodge with a restaurant, and was popular with beginners and school ski classes. Falling visitor numbers and ageing facilities led the city to abolish it after the 2025-26 season, in March 2026.
