Nishiyama Apple Hill is a tiny one-rope-tow ski hill on the slope of Nishiyama Park, next to the Namioka Apple Hill roadside station in Aomori City. The park is better known for lavender and its lookout in summer, and in winter the city runs the rope tow, making it a simple practice slope. It may close on days with too little snow or bad weather. A city bus from Namioka Station stops at the roadside station, a five-minute walk away.
