Official name 大森町立保呂羽スキー場
Akita
Horowasan was a small ski hill at the foot of Mt. Horowa in Omori, now part of Yokote, Akita, next to the prefectural Horowasan Youth Nature House. Run by the former Omori Town, it had a single lift of about 500 m climbing toward Takanagamine, with roughly 100 m of vertical, and it hosted the nature house's winter ski programmes for children. It was later abolished. The nature house's activity map now marks only the former ski lift and the former hut.
