Open 1973–1987

Hirugano Ogamidaira was a small ski area in former Shokawa village, now part of Takayama in Gifu, about 6 km up into the hills from Route 158 in the Hirugano Kogen area. It opened in 1973 with one pair lift and two single lifts serving three runs from a base of about 1,060 m, including a 35-degree pitch, and offered night skiing and a ski school. It closed around 1987. The site can only be reached by a narrow forest road that is often gated, and the remaining lifts and centre house are being swallowed by the forest.
