Gejo Nakamine was a community ski hill in the Gejo district of northern Tokamachi, just off Route 117 and near Gejo Station on the JR Iiyama Line; locals simply called it Nakamine. It opened in the early 1970s, and two rope tows served two short beginner runs on about 65 metres of vertical. After some forty years of use by local families, it closed with a farewell event in March 2013. The tows have been removed, and large solar panels now cover the lower part of the slope.
