Asahiyama Yuki no Mura Closed

Asahiyama Yuki no Mura was a small winter play area a minute's walk from the east gate of Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa, where visitors could try skiing, snowboarding or sledging. Its gentle slope suited children and first-timers, and skis could be rented. A popular extra was a ride in a snow groomer about 1.5 km up to the top, with views over Asahikawa. It has since closed down.
