Yomine San is a 912.9 m conical peak in Minamiaso Village, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, the westernmost of Aso’s central volcanic cones, with a triangular silhouette visible from Kumamoto City. Legend holds that the Aso Shrine deity Takeiwatatsu-no-Mikoto raised it overnight to conceal his expectant consort Asotsuhime, giving the mountain its name. A trail leads from the Ikenokubo recreation area along the Yoshida mountain road. In 2025, a path was also developed from the Jigoku Onsen spring walk to the summit.
