Kishimadake is a 1,326 m volcanic peak in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, within Aso-Kuju National Park. A trail of some 800 paved steps climbs from the Kusasenri parking area to the summit in about 40 minutes, opening a 360-degree panorama of the Aso caldera, including Nakadake and Takadake. It is popular as a beginner-friendly hike.
