Mount Eboshi (1,337 m) is a stratovolcano in Minamiaso Village, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, at the western end of Aso’s central volcanic cones. A first-class triangulation point marks its summit, whose panoramic views have also earned it the name Kunimiyama. The Kusasenrigahama grasslands spread across its slopes, with Miyama-kirishima azaleas typically flowering from late May to early June, depending on the year. The mountain lies within Aso-Kuju National Park.
