Shoranzan

Shoranzan is a 528 m hill in Nakadori, Ichinomiya, Aso, named for its resemblance to Arashiyama in Kyoto. Stone Buddhist figures line the steps, and summit shrines honor Bato Kannon and Kobo Daishi. Views take in burial mounds among the fields and the mountains of Aso.
