Mt. Ōnuta

大ヌタ山

Mt. Ōnuta is a 1,157 m peak in the Misakubo district of Hamamatsu City's Tenryū Ward, Shizuoka Prefecture, listed in the Mizukubo 100 Mountains and recorded as "Kusabayama" in the local town history. A trail follows the Kusagi River gorge, passes a pair of giant "married" Japanese horse-chestnut trees and the Aokuzure Pass, and reaches the broad, flat summit marked by a third-class triangulation point.
