Jibusaka Kogen Ski Resort trail map
Jibusaka Kogen is a family ski area in Achi Village in southern Nagano, set at about 1,190 m right beside Route 153, so cars park at the edge of the slope. Easy day-trip access from Nagoya and the Tokai region is its main draw. The first slope is a gentle beginner area with a sledding kids' park and moving walkway, the second has steeper pitches and a short mogul run, and the third is an ungroomed powder zone. There are ski lessons for children and a snowboard school. The season lasts from mid-December to late March, and in summer the slopes become a cosmos flower garden.
