A 1,907.74 m peak straddling Achi and Hiraya villages in Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture, marking the southernmost end of the Kiso Mountains (Central Alps). Its summit commands sweeping views of Mt. Ontake and the Northern, Central, and Southern Alps, as well as the Yatsugatake range, and connects via a long ridge from Fujimidai Highland. The mountain is included in the Shinshu Hyakumeizan, the Achi Seven Summits, the Shinshu Furusato 120, and several other Nagano-area lists.
