Mt. Iwabushiyama

Iwabushiyama (982.9 m) is a conical peak in the eastern Nishi-Nako district of Shitara Town in Kitashitara, Aichi Prefecture, sitting on the boundary with Toyota City (former Inabu Town). Strange rocks dot its flanks, including Iwabushi Kannon and the Yamamba Cave, and the summit retains the ruins of a beacon fire post said to have been built by Takeda Shingen. Skunk cabbage has been planted along the trail, which the town manages as part of the Shitaran Trail network.
